Every year children from all corners of the county head for the showground – and it’s easy to see why.
For in one day they can acquire a vast amount of knowledge about a wide range of activities such as conservation, rare breeds, farm animals and country crafts – while taking time out to show the world what they have achieved in the ‘Schools Out’ marquee.
Many of the businesses, which exhibit at the show, also work closely with Cheshire’s schools to help those studying for their GCSEs or GNVQ business courses.
All in all, it’s a lesson in good community relations.
A copy of the 2012 school party information pack will be available early next year.
