Cheshire County Show 2010 is a record breaker!!!
A big thank you to everyone that attended the 2010 Cheshire County Show – helping to make it another record-breaking year.

Over 85,000 people came to this year’s show and huge thanks must go to the team of over 300 volunteers that once again helped to make the event possible.

Our thoughts now turn to next year as we plan another exciting show so we look forward to seeing you again on Tuesday & Wednesday, June 21 & 22.

2010 Visitor Information

LOCATION
Cheshire County Show is situated at Tabley near Knutsford, on the A556, approximately 1˝ miles from Junction 19 of the M6.

FREE BUS SERVICE
A free bus service to the showground will operate from Knutsford Railway and Bus Station, Hartford Railway Station, Northwich and Northwich Railway Station. Full details of the routes and timetables by downloading the pdf  Bus Timetable.

This free service is supplied courtesy of Principal Partner, Cheshire East Council.

CASH POINT
Thomas Cook operates a cash dispensing service. This can be found in the Thomas Cook Bureau situated on the corner of the Main Ring, close to the Motor Traders area.

DISABLED VISITORS
To help visitors with mobility difficulties, plus accompanying friends and family, a free and frequent minibus shuttle will operate between the entrance at the Pickmere Car Parks (Gate 7) to the Main Show ring. The vehicles, staffed by fully trained drivers and attendants and fitted with tail-lifts for wheelchair access, are provided courtesy of Cheshire East Council's Transport Co-ordination service. The bus stops are by Gate H and Gate E. Payment into the showground will be collected at the Gate H bus terminal in this instance.

OAKWOOD MOBILITY will be providing electric scooters and manual wheelchairs for hire for use by disabled, elderly and mobility impaired visitors to the Show. Scooter hire is £15 and £10 for a manual wheelchair for the day. For further information and advance bookings please call 0800 074 6789.

Please note: this service is only available from the Tabley Car Park which is accessed via Gate 1, Flittogate Lane, off the A556.

FIRST AID This is provided by the St Johns Ambulance Service and North West Ambulance Services. First aid posts are situated between the Main Ring and Shire Ring, adjacent to the Show Jumping Ring and near the Flower/WI Marquee.

LOST & FOUND CHILDREN will be dealt with by the St John Ambulance Service. If a child (or other vulnerable person) is found, or reported lost, immediate contact should be made with St John Ambulance Service or any show steward, show security or the police and St John Ambulance personnel will make their way to you - Once reported people should wait until St Johns or the police arrive.

BABY CHANGING - facilities for changing and feeding babies are kindly provided by the Mother’s Union. Their marquee is situated in between the Main Ring & Shire Ring near to the pond.

INFORMATION POINTS - information can be obtained from the Show Office in the Members Area and various information points throughout the showground.

CATERING & BARS Restaurant / Bar facilities are available for Members and Vice Presidents in the Members Enclosure. The Tabley Restaurant and Bar, adjacent to the Cattle Judging Rings also serves full meals and breakfasts for the general public, stockmen and Members. Numerous mobile catering units around the Showground provide a wide choice of Snacks, Ice Cream, Sandwiches and Drinks. Several public bars around the Show Ground sell alcoholic drinks.

TOILETS are situated all around the Showground ( See Map) Facilities for disabled visitors are also available at these points.

HAND WASHING - it is recommended that anyone coming into direct contact with animals should wash immediately afterwards and in particular before eating.
