Roberts Bakery 'raises' the excitement of the Cheshire Show PDF Print E-mail

CHESHIRE’S leading family bakers is ‘rising’ to the challenge of hosting a food extravaganza to celebrate the county’s agricultural history.

Roberts Bakery, based at Gadbrook Park, Northwich, is sponsoring the Food Hall at the Cheshire County Show for the third year, when tens of thousands of people attend the Show on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 17 and 18.

To celebrate the continued partnership between the Cheshire County Show and Roberts Bakery, the duo has come together with a recipe for success.

Using Roberts Bakery bread to make a giant bread canvas an eye-catching picture has been printed on to it to mark the launch of the 2008 Show.

The Cheshire Show is teaming up with the bakery to create a food lovers haven in the Roberts Bakery Food Hall, which has grown incredibly over recent years to house hundreds of food producers from across the country – and world!

Cheshire Show Executive Director Nigel Evans said: “We are delighted that the Roberts Bakery Food Hall will continue to promote local and regional producers at the Show.

“It has become a trademark attraction at the Cheshire Show and people travel from across the North West to come and sample the delicious produce.”

Sales and marketing coordinator for Roberts Bakery Kellie Burgess added: “The Cheshire Show is always a highly successful event and we are pleased to be a principal partner of the Show for the third year running.”

There will be an exciting line-up in the Food Live Theatre within the Roberts Bakery Food Hall this year with celebrity TV chef Kevin Woodford demonstrating how to produce mouth-watering meals with vibrant fresh produce live on stage.
