ENTRIES for one of the country’s largest Shire competitions are underway with deadlines having been announced for May. Deadlines for entries the Cheshire County Show’s Shire horse section have been announced as Friday, May 9, 2008. The Cheshire County Show is being held on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 17 and 18, at the Tabley Showground near Knutsford. Competitors wishing to enter their horses for this year’s Cheshire Show should apply for a schedule from show executive director Nigel Evans. Applications, together with a C5 size reply envelope with a 40p stamp, should be addressed to the Cheshire Agricultural Society, Clay House Farm, Flittogate Lane, Tabley, Knutsford, Cheshire, WA16 0JH. |
