ORGANISERS of the North West’s largest two-day event are refusing to get bogged down in the cold dark winter days as they look ahead to the highlight of the summer months – the Cheshire County Show. Space at the 250-acre site at Tabley, near Knutsford, is already being snapped up as traders from all over the country apply for space at Cheshire’s leading agricultural event on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 17 and 18, 2008. In June tens of thousands of people will descend on the Tabley Showground to enjoy shopping amongst the hundreds of trade stands lining the fields. From shoes to fine crafts there is something for everyone, so you can start your Christmas shopping for next year! Executive director Nigel Evans said: “We had a hugely successful show last year and business was booming for trade stands, which came from across the country. “We always have a massive subscription from traders so while most people are relaxing for Christmas we’re already planning well ahead for the summer celebrations.” |
