LADIES will be donning more than their wax jackets at this year’s Cheshire County Show as they compete for the coveted title of Best Dressed Lady in the county. Forget stilettos and fancy frocks, the fashion at the county’s leading agricultural event is all about understated countrified charm, and the best dressed lady will be hand-picked from tens of thousands of visitors on Tuesday, June 17. Fashion savvy ladies will be spotted and then judged by Cheshire magazine editor Louise Taylor at 12pm in the prestigious Members’ Enclosure, at the Tabley Showground, near Knutsford. The winner will be taking to Cheshire’s roads in a stylish Italian sports car for the weekend, courtesy of the UK’s largest Alfa Romeo dealership Mangoletsi, at Knutsford. Ladies wanting to take part in the competition should meet outside the Show Office next to the Members’ Enclosure at 11.45am on Tuesday, June 17. |
