Traders urged to book early for Cheshire County Show 2013

Cheshire County Show organisers are urging traders to book their plots early for next year’s show following record demand for space at the event.

Trade stand space is now on sale for the 2013 show, to be held on June 18 and 19, and demand for plots is higher than ever following the success of this year’s event, which included a visit by Her Royal Highness The Countess of Wessex and attracted crowds of over 80,000 people.

"Many firms who came to this year’s event have come back to us to request a place again at the 2013 event and we also continue to attract a range of new firms looking to showcase their goods and services at one of the largest two day public events in the country,” said Nigel Evans, Executive Director of the Cheshire County Show.

"Cheshire is rightly extremely proud of its farming heritage and the Cheshire County Show has grown to become one of the largest and well established two day agricultural shows in the UK.  This makes it one of the most important dates in the calendar for traders.”

Over 800 traders ranging from agricultural suppliers and car dealerships to the finest food producers and clothing retailers came to the show in June this year.

"The beautiful setting of the Cheshire countryside makes our show the ideal place for a wide variety of firms to meet potential customers or clients, not only from Cheshire, but also from across the country,” said Nigel Evans.
