County Show launches e-ticket serviceONE of the country’s largest county shows has launched a new e-ticket service allowing visitors to purchase and print their tickets online. Tickets for the Cheshire County Show 2013 are now available through an e-ticket service on the show’s website www.cheshirecountyshow.org.uk/tickets "Each year the numbers of visitors purchasing tickets online continues to grow and the new system will make the process of buying tickets through the website much simpler. It is also a much better option for the environment as visitors print their own tickets,” said Nigel Evans, Executive Director of the Cheshire County Show. The show celebrates its 175th anniversary in 2013 and in recent years the attendance at the event, held at the Tabley Showground, has grown to over 80,000 people, making it one of the most well established agricultural shows in the country. As well as the stunning spectacle of seeing thousands of animals including livestock, horses and dogs in competition other attractions this year will include heart-stopping main ring display from leading stunt motorcyclist Matt Coulter AKA ‘The Kangaroo Kid’ and stirring live music from the Scots Guard Association Pipe and Drum Band Back who return by popular demand. Regular attractions at the show also include the Sainsbury’s Agri-Centre, Roberts Bakery Food Hall and Food Live Theatre and a Countryside Experience area. "As Cheshire Agricultural society celebrates its 175th anniversary we are gearing up for an action-packed Cheshire County Show to celebrate all that is great about farming and the countryside in the county,” said Nigel Evans, Executive Director of the Cheshire County Show. |
