Floral creators set to blossom at the Cheshire County Show
Magnificent displays of floral art from Cheshire’s most talented designers will go on display at this year’s Cheshire County Show.
In its 27th year at the event The National Association of Flower Arrangement Society (NAFAS) has announced the theme for this year’s competition, ‘A World of Change”, with categories including ‘Spice Up Your Life’, ‘Hotspot’ and ‘Oasis’.
This prestigious competition will be held in the Grand Marquee and will also allow children to participate in practical sessions where they can try their hands at creating their own small arrangements, while parents will be encouraged to create their own button-holes to wear during the show.
For the first time in its history the marquee will also give NAFAS members the opportunity to exhibit their floral photographs under the same theme.
Nigel Evans, Executive Director of the Cheshire Show, said: "We are delighted to welcome NAFAS back to this year’s show, the exhibition never fails to draw the crowds and each year the displays become even more impressive, showcasing the incredible talent we have here in Cheshire.”
